Hydrapower Scout Mark V

Our Hydrapower Scout Mark V drill rig is capable of completing all aspects of geotechnical drilling and is mounted on a 13T 4x4 Isuzu FTS800. It’s capabilities include:

  • DTH hammer to 150m

  • NQ coring to 200m

  • HQ coring to 100m

  • NMLC coring to 100m

  • Rotary Mud Drilling (wash boring) to 300m

  • Solid augering to 24m

  • Hollow flight angering to 20m

This diesel motor rig is suitable for over-water drilling and is mine compliant. It is supported by a 6.5T 4x4 Isuzu NPS300 truck.

 

Hydrapower Trekker

Our versatile track mounted rig was commissioned in late 2025 and is mounted on a 2022 Morooka MST600VD base with 4 outriggers (2 front and 2 rear) and is capable of all aspects of geotechnical drilling, including:

  • Up to 200m conventional drilling;

  • SPT and push tube capability;

  • Augering;

  • wash boring; and

  • Coring - both conventional and wireline, NMLC, NQ, HQ and PQ.

It is capable of 10km/hr in travel mode and power by a Kubota motor which drives the Hydrapower 2 speed variable head capable of ups to 750rpm and fitted with a safety cage and emergency stop.

Christie Truck Mounted Drill Rig

Powered with a 24.5hp CAT diesel power pack which drives a Christie Engineering head capable of up to 520rpm

Mounted on a 2020 Isuzu 75/155 4WD truck with 2 rear and 2 front outriggers

Safety cage with automatic cut off safety switch

Emergency stop fitted

Capabilities:

  • Proven up to 20m drilling depth;

  • SPT capability;

  • Augering up to 250mm augers;

  • Washboring; and

  • Coring - NMLC, HQ and NQ
